A Mystery Adventure Game
for 3rd-8th graders
Creative Expression as the Way to a Better World
Drama
Song Creation and Soundtracks
Storytelling and Scriptwriting
Built with drama therapists, the game creates a space for young people to express themselves. Drama therapy uses the creative arts, particularly drama and theater techniques, to facilitate personal growth and promote psychological healing. It can be a valuable tool for social-emotional learning (SEL) because it allows individuals to explore and express their emotions, develop self-awareness, build social skills, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and others.

In drama therapy for SEL, participants engage in various dramatic activities, such as role-playing, improvisation, and storytelling, to explore and express their emotions and experiences. Through these activities, they can learn to identify & regulate their emotions, practice empathy & perspective-taking, and develop communication & problem-solving skills.
What We Focus On
Mindfulness involves paying attention to the present moment, without judgment or distraction. It involves being aware of one's thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations.
Mindfulness
These skills involve learning to identify and label emotions, reducing emotional reactivity, and developing effective coping strategies to manage intense emotions.
Emotion
Regulation
Interpersonal effectiveness skills are used to help individuals improve their communication and relationships with others.
Interpersonal
Effectiveness
These skills involve learning to accept uncomfortable emotions without trying to change or suppress them, using self-soothing strategies to create calm.
Distress
Tolerance
Because Teachers need support too.
We found that teachers don't just need professional development... they need their own personal and unique wellness support as well. Teachers play a critical role in shaping the minds and lives of children, and as such, their own wellness is crucial to ensure.
These are our top priorities:

-
Enhanced well-being: Teaching can be a demanding and stressful profession. Teachers who prioritize their own wellness are more likely to manage stress and remain motivated throughout the day.
-
Role modeling: Teachers who prioritize their own wellness can serve as role models for their students, demonstrating the importance of self-care and promoting healthy habits. This can help students develop their own healthy behaviors and attitudes.
-
Reduced burnout: Teachers who neglect their own wellness are at a higher risk of burnout, which can lead to decreased job satisfaction, performance, and retention. Prioritizing wellness can help prevent burnout and improve teacher retention rates.
We curate live experiences to build a space for expression and community. These innovative experiences take place in the virtual world of firefly island!
